AMYC is the Australian Methodist Youth Camp that occurs annually, hosted by different churches in
different states every year. In 2019, AMYC will be hosted by Trinity Church in Melbourne, Victoria.
Our theme for 2019 is “Arise – Dry Bones to Life”. It is based on the Bible passage of Ezekiel 37:1-14
where we read about a valley of dry bones – desolate, dried up and hopeless. However a prophecy is
given, that flesh and skin will cover these bones and the Lord would make breath enter them and
the bones would come to life. It is a message about the restoration of the Lord’s people. And it is this
message of hope, revival and restoration that forms the theme of our camp.
We would love to see you at this year’s AMYC as we explore the Bible about this together.
All and everyone are welcome!

I’m currently serving as the assistant minister and the English pastor of Sherwood Methodist Church. I’ve been serving there since 2014. I’ve been married to Jane, my wife, for 10 years and we have a 3 year old son (Yohan) and a baby daughter (Eugenie, 5 months) together.
I grew up in a Christian family, and for 19 years I was a nominal Christian who secretly doubted Jesus, until God confronted my false Christianity in my first year of Uni, and opened my eyes to see my need for Jesus. I originally studied filmmaking and was aiming to work in the film industry, but I gradually discerned God’s calling me into full-time ministry. In 2014 I graduated with an MDiv from Brisbane School of Theology.
I still enjoy watching movies today, and also spending time with my family. I would love to do more traveling with them when my kids are a bit older.
